Lincoln High School Hosting Open Chess Tournament December 2nd
Lincoln High School will be hosting the first ever Lincoln Open on Saturday, December 2nd 2023. The tournament will take place on campus at Lincoln High School - 1392 E Pridemore Dr, Lincoln, AR 72744.
This chess tournament is for students in grades 9-12, and there will be a trophy for the top high school team in addition to the top overall finisher. The top 3 players from the same school will score for their team. Please reach out to tournament host hrobinson@lincolncsd.com with questions.

The deadline for signing up online is officially November 30th, but feel free to reach out if you miss the deadline, because the tournament will very likely be able to accommodate walk-ins as well.
The time control will be G30/d5, with 5 rounds scheduled. Registration is scheduled for 8:00-8:30, and games are set to commence at 9:00 a.m.
We’re also happy to announce that this tournament will be free of charge for all players, because the Northwest Arkansas Chess Center is sponsoring the tournament! All chess sets and clocks will also be provided. Hope to see you there!
